The NY NOW trade show is a market for Home, Lifestyle and trend setting gift items. The resources are from around the world and come together twice a year at the Javitz Center in NYC. Our WithIt.org NY Chapter got together at the Cheryl Hazan Gallery to view the works of artist Kazumi Yoshida, located in TriBeCa in lower Manhattan. The Gallery is noted for showcasing new and established contemporary artists.
Storm King Art Center is a leading sculpture park covering a pristine 500 acre open field in the Hudson Valley of NY. Visitors can view a collection of more than 100 carefully sited sculptures created by some of the most acclaimed artists of our time. Artists include Alexander Calder, Roy Lichtenstein and Zhang Huan.

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.
