After 30 years of living in her one bedroom 950 sq ft. condo in White Plains, it was time to declutter and fully renovate. Appliances, lighting and popcorn ceilings needed to be updated and removed. After some encouragement, it became a freeing experience to make 3 piles to categorize items: keep, donate, dispose. Before long the place was empty.
Demo included upgrading old, unsafe electrical, replacing windows and broken sliding doors. Hard wood floors were installed, as was crown moulding, new recessed lighting, and all new fixtures. A brand new galley kitchen and updated bathroom utilized marble, glass, and semi-custom cabinetry.
The master bedroom was updated with a feminine, slightly hollywood glam style. Lots of storage was added with custom closets, and a newly built storage closet next to the desk area. The main living room was decorated around her colorful art collection.
Now, our wonderfully talented client, who just received her PHD in education, has a place to be proud of, to entertain friends and family, and one that reflects her many personal accomplishments.
