OPEN KITCHEN

By removing the wall between the original kitchen and the dining room, we created an open concept space, perfect for family entertaining and larger group gatherings. With a love of the color green and natural earth tones, we chose glass tiles in these colors, tiling up to the ceiling behind the vent for a dramatic effect. Coupled with ceiling height cabinetry, the ceilings felt much higher than eight feet in the beautiful Tudor home. Our favorite detail was the glass shelves in the corner cabinetry, that when lit up a night, gave a warm glow to both the new kitchen and the adjoining dining room. (Photos by Rick Wenacur)

“Denise worked patiently and diligently to help me flesh out a new and very fresh look for my home. She worked her schedule around mine but mostly she designed a beautiful living space that brings modern to my 90 year old home. She brought some wonderful contractors to the project and I experienced very minimal disruption despite a full kitchen rebuild and wall removal.”
