The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) at the Javitz Center in NYC included unique products this year! 3D Wallpaper complete with glasses, Collapsable Furniture made from Tyvek and all different species of Reclaimed Wood were some of the eye catching items. DIFFA stands for ‘Design Industry Foundation Fighting Aids’. Annually at the AD Home Show, many different organizations from manufacturers to schools, create over the top, out of the box, creative dining experiences for all to view.
The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.
