Our new Studio called The Design Lab is an environment created to cultivate imagination, creativity and curiosity. What better way to celebrate its launch than with a Grand Opening Party and Inaugural Speaker Event!

What makes this place so special? Its the people who come to visit us! Whether its a Design project team meeting, friends stopping by to say hello, suppliers coming by with new product ideas…Its all about learning, growing and staying in a creative mindset.

Our Grand Opening Event & Inaugural Speaker Series was a huge success! We had over 40 people throughout the evening stop by to say hello, enjoy some tasty food, and listen to our amazing Guest Speaker, the Master of Window Treatments, Deb Cronin. We even went LIVE on INSTAGRAM for those out of driving distance to participate.  WATCH PRESENTATION

Deb Cronin, principal of Leatherwood Design gave a Window Treatment 101 talk about Why To Go Custom. She reviewed the math and precision in measuring and cutting patterned fabric (sometime $600/yard) to yield a breathtaking result. Samples were passed around to experience the quality work first hand and to appreciate the artistry and experience involved.

The (complementary) wine & cheese Speaker Series will continue every THIRD THURSDAY of each month, from 5:30-7:30pm at The Design Lab. We want to continue to connect with our community and learn and grow together. Please JOIN US!

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.

“Your rooms are like a painting. Each component is a brushstroke to create the whole picture. It’s magic every time!”
