Architectural Digest Home show, NYC 2019

This years AD Home Show at NYC’s Pier 94 was the BEST yet! They really raised the bar with high quality, talented artisans and manufacturers. We were excited to finally see lots of COLOR! I love my neutrals but there was an energy and excitement in the mix of color, texture and pattern. They combined well with popular metals still incorporated in furniture and accessories like dinnerware, frames and lighting. How about a bright Dolce & Gabbana refrigerator? Perhaps you are interested in a coffee table that changes design patterns? What catches your eye?

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.
