Hiking Teatown Preserve

Hiking around Teatown Lake, or on one of its many wooded trails, is a special experience at any time of year. Located in the Lower Hudson Valley of NY, this 1,000 acre nature preserve and education center teaches ecology and responsibility to nature, even at a very young age. During the summer hundreds of kids of all ages attend camp here, learning all about plants, animals and why we should take special care of our natural surroundings.

“The goal of our educational programs is to instill a love of the environment, positive attitudes toward conservation and environmental protection and a sense of personal and civic responsibility.”

On a recent walk around Teatown Lake, you will see why this is such a special place to visit!  LEARN MORE
