Historical Jerome Hotel, Aspen Co.

During our annual ski trip to Aspen Colorado, we visited the recently updated Jerome Hotel. Built in the 1800’s, this hotel is rich in history. We were amazed by the beautiful decor which carefully honored the original structural details, while addressing the comfort and functionality of a more contemporary decor.

We had a delicious, laid back, apres-ski dinner in the ‘J’ Bar. My favorite piece was the chandelier made from old bottles! The main entry still had the feeling of years gone by, complete with a vintage style chair.

The main room was richly decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and contemporary furniture, such as an acrylic coffee table. The ceiling was open to view the brick building above and sky lights bringing in natural light.
