There is no better way to usher in the New Year than with a commitment to yourself to be Healthy!

I worked with the owner of the Premier Athletic Club in Montrose, NY to update their main fitness room, just in time for those who want to make their New Year’s resolutions for a more fit lifestyle, in both mind and body.

Strategically placed room dividers with inspirational messages and photos located in various parts of the room help members to keep their focus while guiding them around all of the new equipment.

The long room was redesigned in a white and grey paint pallet, while strategically placed mirrors balanced out the narrow room shape, and splashes of red upholstery on the seats added visual interest and energy!

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.
