Finally an app that makes matching color easy! Amy Wax created the app COLOR911 which identifies colors that are used in images when you take a photo of it. Using this app, if I need to match a paint color to a color in a rug, I simply take a photo of the rug and identify the colors that are in that rug. If adjustments need to be made because of lighting, I can adjust them right in the application as well. Its so easy! It will also store the colors in a file to refer to at a later time. Very clever!

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.
