High Point Market Spring 2026 Recap

Home is Your Comfort Zone
Fresh from High Point Spring 2026, it’s our market wrap-up! We’re sharing the latest home design trends, materials, and styles to watch for in interior design. We always come back with great finds and ideas. Every market offers unique insights, allowing us to bring a fresh perspective to all of our projects and clients. For spring, the key takeaway was the rise of comfortable, cozy living spaces.

Our Highlights From the Market:
  • Ultra soft and exceptionally fluffy material on chairs, sofas and recliners. Everything has a cozy feel, as if you are sitting on a cloud. There were also many plush, textured fabrics. This furniture provides a secure, enveloping comfort that makes it nearly impossible to leave.
  • Wood details were everywhere, and burled wood was especially popular. A highly regarded, luxurious wood grain characterized by intricate, swirling patterns formed by tree stress or injury. This creates a unique, artistic grain used for high-end furniture and inlay accents that adds a distinctive, organic texture.
  • Wide variety of bedframes, including low-profile platforms with a warm minimalist feel; textured upholstery and curves with a shift toward softer shapes including tufted and curved headboards. Darker woods like walnut and espresso replaced lighter woods to add warmth and sophistication. The focus is a beautiful relaxing bedroom.
  • Embracing neutral, textured color combinations and organic shapes. The loud color palette has been traded for calm, warm, soft sand, taupe and earthy undertones like sage, terracotta and dark chocolate brown. And furniture such as sofas, chairs, and tables featuring natural, fluid curves and edges took center stage, giving a welcoming feel to a home.
  • An abundance of wallpaper options from patterns to murals. The trend has moved from minimalist to bold self-expression and engaging,  large-scale scenic murals. The look is inspired by motifs in vibrant colors and patterns, such as those by Sarah Von Dreele who is inspired by nature in her designs. This sense of craftsmanship brings a timeless elegance to a space.

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.

“Your rooms are like a painting. Each component is a brushstroke to create the whole picture. It’s magic every time!”
