Its hard to believe that we are starting to wrap up the construction phase of this project. 4 months goes by fast! Of course, it is never easy living in a house during a renovation, but the end result is always worth the sacrifice as most homeowners will agree.

We are in the process of completing the installation of these very special cork floors. They are manufactured from wine bottle tops! Denise Wenacur is showing the staining options that were presented to the clients in addition to talking about steel supports that are needed to hold up the very heavy piece of granite in this short video. Take a look! View Construction Photos

The stonework above our new double-sided gas fireplace is also completed! Custom cut granite was installed as edging for river rock that was tiled in the center. It gave a more modern, less rustic appearance with clean lines. A brand new custom stair rail system was also installed at the front stairs and catwalk on the second floor, with a special gate at the top for the puppy! We are getting ready to paint, choose carpet and install the final details such as vent covers.
Stay tuned!

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.

“Your rooms are like a painting. Each component is a brushstroke to create the whole picture. It’s magic every time!”
