Unveiling Artistry: The Design Lab Welcomes Sarah Von Dreele

The Design Lab at our Interior Design studio in Croton on Hudson, NY, recently played host to an extraordinary evening that brought artistry to life. Principal Denise Wenacur curated a unique experience by visiting the home and studio of the talented artist, Sarah Von Dreele then invited her to speak at The Design Studio to give attendees a rare opportunity to witness the magic of her work in progress.

Sarah’s line of bespoke wallpapers, textiles, and fine art originals stood at the forefront of the event. Available exclusively to the trade and represented by showrooms across North America, her collections boast a seamless fusion of artistic expression and functionality.

Beyond her individual product lines, Sarah’s collaborative spirit shines through in her partnership with CB2. The ongoing development of home accessories and fine art reproductions expands the accessibility of her art, reaching a wider audience and bringing a touch of sophistication into homes across the nation.

Sarah Von Dreele took center stage as the guest speaker at The Design Lab, captivating the audience with the story behind her artistic journey. Attendees were treated to insights into the genesis of her business, the inspirations that fuel her creativity, and the challenges she navigated on her path to success.

The Design Lab event reached its zenith with a live gouache demonstration by Sarah herself. The audience had the privilege of witnessing the artist’s creative process unfold in real-time, providing a unique glimpse into the intricacies of her craft.

As a special treat, samples of Sarah’s wallpapers and fabric were discussed and passed around for the audience to touch and appreciate. This tactile experience allowed attendees to connect with the textures, colors, and details that define Sarah’s signature style.
