Interior Design Trends from Fall High Point Market 2024
Our recent trip to the Fall High Point Market in North Carolina was an incredible experience, filled with inspiration and opportunities to source pieces for our many design projects. The showrooms truly were a feast for the eyes, offering a vast array of unique and customizable solutions for our clients.
While sourcing, we noticed several exciting trends emerging in the world of interior design:
- Black furniture and darker room colors made a bold statement.
- Full-wall headboards were a standout feature in many bedroom designs.
- Pattern play was everywhere, with herringbone and basket weave patterns adding texture and interest.
- Fluting appeared on a variety of furniture pieces, bringing an elegant, architectural element to the forefront.
- Brushed brass metals continued to shine, offering warmth and sophistication.
- A harmonious mix of neutral tones—creamy whites, beige, and the ever-reliable grey—was paired with a range of green hues.
- Warm-toned woods graced consoles, side tables, and accent pieces, balancing contemporary designs with organic warmth.
Beyond the trends, the Market was also a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends and industry colleagues, meet with our knowledgeable manufacturer reps, and attend inspiring seminars and events.
One of the highlights for me was participating in a panel discussion alongside distinguished designers, where we explored the exciting role of AI in the design world. If you haven’t already, check out our post on that insightful event!
As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to bring the latest trends and inspirations from High Point into our upcoming projects.
