We tend to get very creative when our clients tell us they are ready to make a change in their home. After we decide the style direction, the next task is selecting which materials to use to fulfill the vision.

Sometimes our more unique solutions require resourcing different materials than those you might find locally. When we went to the KBIS Trade show (Kitchen & Bath) in February in Florida, we came upon some very interesting to the trade resources.

Some of the more requested materials lately, have been large stone slabs (either engineered or natural), door systems like Nanawall and remote control screen door systems, custom doors, all types of railing systems for porches and interior stairs, and hard wood flooring.

The most exciting part of having all of these resources is that we never have to have a ‘one size fits all’ solution. Everything can be tailor made to our clients specific requirements.

Our initial question to the new prospects we greet is, what do you want to do? And we will help make it happen!

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.

“Your rooms are like a painting. Each component is a brushstroke to create the whole picture. It’s magic every time!”
