In February my family and I spent a week in Aspen, Colorado to visit family and ski. Having been there several times, it always amazes me the high concentration of artists that live and work in the area. The scenery is so beautiful that I am not surprised that it brings out the creativity in so many talented individuals. Check out this bear made entirely out of nails!

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.
