ASID Judge, Architectural Digest Home Show 2015

I had the pleasure of being a Judge for the Architectural Digest Home Show in NYC. ASID had its annual vote and presentation of Awards to ten deserving exhibitors at the show. As part of the panel of five esteemed judges, we walked the show together taking notes and discussing best in category candidates. It was a very difficult decision, but we were able to select 10 extraordinary Award Recipients. Crestron, a leader in smart home technology, hosted the cocktail party and celebration for all afterwards in their booth. View Show Photos  View DIFFA Photos

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.

“Your rooms are like a painting. Each component is a brushstroke to create the whole picture. It’s magic every time!”
