Have you ever walked into someones house or a restaurant restroom that has a concrete countertop and asked yourself, how do they fabricate that? Our clients wanted something unique for their bathroom located by their pool. The thought of a custom, poured concrete countertop, in a color that we could specify was the perfect solution!

We worked with the existing navy blue and white 1×1 inch ‘chicklet’ tiles in the bathroom, matching the blue color as close as possible. I found the whole fabrication process fascinating. Brooks Custom, in business for about 40 years, did an amazing job working with us creating the mould to exact dimensional specifications, mixing and spraying the material, and finely sanding the vanity top to a very smooth surface before installation.

They even helped us integrate a very special surprise, a heart shaped rock imbedded in the vanity, reminding the couple of a special vacation!

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.

“Your rooms are like a painting. Each component is a brushstroke to create the whole picture. It’s magic every time!”
