Soli Head 1Soli Pierce is the artist behind Sherwood Forest Designs. Her unique designs inspired by nature, are hand painted and finished with non-toxic materials and layers of food-safe sealer. The decorative and functional wooden bowls and accessories are useful works of art in the kitchen as salad, pasta or fruit bowls. They are collected worldwide by many notable chefs and celebrities such as the Clinton’s, Dr. Oz and Gweneth Patrow.

Soli says that “Each bowl is made from hand turned maple wood, hand painted and sealed eight times for a lifetime of use. We believe in the ‘Recipe for a Good Life’, friends and family around the table celebrating good food and cherished moments.”

The natural looking ‘Bark Bowls’ are the newest introduction in the ‘Urban Zen’ collection. The ‘Painted Classics’ collection is seen in stores and galleries from Telluride to Tokyo. Her work has also been displayed at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Philadelphia Museum of Art as well.
