Museum of Natural History , NYC

All ages enjoy visiting the Museum of Natural History in NYC. We have been taking our kids there for years. We never tire of seeing the dinosaurs. This year, they had a new addition of a 122 foot long Titanosaur, found in Argentina. It lived a 100 million years ago and is so big that his head stretches out the exhibit door! Each original bone was replicated and cast in fiberglass to look exactly like the original.

We also love going to the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Earth & Science Center. The structure of the Planetarium within the museum is so beautiful the way you see its shape with the planet models suspended from the ceiling surrounded by the view of the city’s skyscrapers.

Exiting the Planetarium is the science center. Very informative understanding rock formations and where our granite countertops come from!

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair. There’s also a functionality to every item that is unique to each project’s solution. It’s sort of like an oversized jigsaw puzzle with a place and reason for each piece.

“Your rooms are like a painting. Each component is a brushstroke to create the whole picture. It’s magic every time!”
