This bathroom renovation project is a perfect example of why you do not need a lot of space to make significant improvements. Great, functional design plus creative ideas are essential. The bathroom was falling apart and had leaks, so it could not be used anymore. In addition to making the necessary upgrades, the client had a few requests:

  • Create a spa bath
  • Incorporate brass, and
  • Use her favorite color, green!

Maximizing a Small Space

The first item was to design and build a new custom vanity with towers on each side. This was important from an aesthetics point of view and for added storage. Then, a custom cabinet was built above the new toilet to incorporate even more space for towels and toiletries. Also, new white trim around the window was installed.

Next, we upgraded to a new tub & shower combo with shades of green and ivory accented tiles for contrast. The combination of dark wood, green tile, and brushed brass plumbing fixtures and hardware throughout turned this small bathroom into a stunner. We were able to use every inch of space to make the room feel larger. The finishing touch: heated towel bars. The perfect luxury to elevate any bathroom.

The common element throughout is good design. There’s always a reason why an element is chosen for a certain place, whether it’s a colorful painting in a room or a specific fabric on a chair.
