Our WithIt.org NY Chapter got together at the Cheryl Hazan Gallery to view the works of artist Kazumi Yoshida, located in TriBeCa in lower Manhattan. The Gallery is noted for showcasing new and established contemporary artists.
“As the long time art director of the peerless American textile firm, Clarence House, Yoshida has created a signature, an utterly distinctive style with ease and naturalism into a contemporary art and a contemporary way of seeing it. He has had numerous awards internationally throughout the years. His distinctive artistry can be seen through some of the Hermes line of products, a firm he has collaborated with in recent years…” as described by the Gallery.
After our visual inspiration, we walked to the Grand Banks where we enjoyed beautiful views of the West Side on a docked sailboat. The boat was set up with several bars and dining tables to maximize relaxation, conversation and watching the sailboats!
